Lesbian Couple to Appear on TLC’s “Four Weddings”

fourweddings ceremony

On Thursday, December 6, TLC will air its weekly program Four Weddings. The premise remains the same. Four brides attend and score one another’s weddings. There is only one winner, and that winner receives an all expenses paid honeymoon.

However, this week’s episode will feature the show’s first African-American lesbian couple. Davone Madison-Jackson and Tiffany Jackson are from Queens, New York, and looking forward to seeing their episode premier on television.

Davone is the CEO of Dollhouse Enterprises, Inc. and Tiffany is a Senior Engineer for Jet Blue Airways. The couple is having a viewing party in their hometown to celebrate their participation on the show with friends and family.

So, who wins? We don’t know, which means you’ll have to tune in and find out. But, we did speak with the new Jackson couple about their wedding and their participation on Four Weddings.

How did you meet?
We met in 2008 when Tiffany joined my social networking company Dollhouse Enterprises, to meet new lesbians as friends. We met and hit it off immediately!

When did you get married?
We got married December 23, 2011.

How would you describe your wedding?
Our wedding theme was a diamond winter wonderland.

fourweddings chocolatefountainWhat made you want to be on Four Weddings?
Davone loved the show and she was featured on Say Yes to the Dress (also on TLC) in April 2011. TLC contacted her again to see if she wanted to do Four Weddings.

How did you react when they told you, you would be on the show?
We were very excited! Even though we had our honeymoon already planned out we were excited to compete for another honeymoon.

Are you the first lesbian couple to be featured on Four Weddings?
We are the first African-American lesbian couple to be featured on the show. There was another couple featured this past summer of 2012.

What can people expect from this episode?
We haven’t seen the episode as of yet but I’m sure you can expect a good laugh and great show.

Tune in Thursday, December 6 at 10 p.m. EST to watch Davone and Tiffany battle it out with other brides. And if you miss it, don’t worry: it airs again at 12 p.m. EST.
