Foundation Grants Record Number of Gender-Confirming Surgeries

The Jim Collins Foundation recently announced a record number of grantees and is now accepting applications for the next grant cycle. Founded in 2008 by two transgender men, the Jim Collins Foundation is the only national nonprofit organization with a mission to fund gender-confirming surgeries.

White House Recognizes LGBT Health Awareness Week

Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued an official statement about observing LGBT health awareness week.
