Celebrate Spring with HRC Greater Washington DC in a cherry blossom inspired virtual cooking class led by local Chefs Erik Bruner-Yang and Marcelle Afram. Merging their Tawainese, Japanese, and Palestinian cooking styles, Chefs Erik and Marcelle will lead you in preparing a three-course menu for two comprised of traditional Japanese Onigiri, scallion pancakes with sour cherry romanesco, and homemade cannoli for dessert. Participants will receive a custom meal-kit with ingredients and tools needed for the virtual cooking class. Event proceeds go towards HRC’s work to achieve equality for all LGBTQ+ people.

Special Notes: Menu is vegetarian and mealkit serves two. Mealkit pickup is in-person at Maketto, 1351 H St. NE, Washington DC on Monday, April 26th. Further pickup instructions will be sent via email prior to event. This event is virtual and the Zoom link will be sent via email the week of the event.
