10 Queer Figures of the Harlem Renaissance

The Harlem Renaissance was a time marked by an explosion of Black cultural and intellectual contributions and collaborations and many of them were created by Black LGBTQ+ creatives. These 10 people were part of the Harlem Renaissance as Black poets, singers, writers, or other artists and were also gay, lesbian, or bisexual.
