Pride season is upon us and people across the country are in suspense about the announcement of their 2019 headliners. Well D.C., the wait is over. The Capital Pride Alliance yesterday announced the headliners for the 2019 Capital Pride Concert, presented by HOT 99.5 & PRIDE Radio.
“The Capital Pride Alliance is thrilled to announce such a diverse slate of performers for the 2019 Pride Concert. The wide range of talent, experience and contributions of these artists speaks to our theme of shhhOUT: Past, Present & Proud,” says Ryan Bos, Capital Pride Alliance Executive Director.“
This year Sunday’s festival will have six headliners: Shea Diamond, Todrick Hall, Zara Larsson, Marshmellow, Calum Scott, and RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Nina West.
The Capital Pride Concert will be held on Sunday, June 9, beginning at 1:00 pm on Pennsylvania Avenue at 3rd Street, in conjunction with the Capital Pride Festival, which begins at 12:00 noon. The Capital Pride Concert is free to the public, with tickets available for special access to the Concert Pit and the VIP Concert Experience.
