What: The Family Centers at NYU Langone are hosting their annual Condomania Event to raise awareness on safe sex and the prevention of sexually transmitted infections. Community members are encouraged to join the fun carnival themed event and play games, win prizes, and enjoy the food.
The Family Health Centers (FHC) at NYU Langone, one of New York’s largest Federally Qualified Health Center networks, is bringing more primary and preventive outpatient care to Brooklyn area residents.

Why: Red Hook’s high health disparities and lack of access to care aligns with the FHC mission of improving the health of communities by providing high-quality primary care to adult and pediatric patients, regardless of their ability to pay. This event will help those in the Red Hook community learn more about condom use and how highly effective they are in preventing the sexual transmission of HIV, and the risks of sexually transmitted infections.
