The DC Center for the LGBT Community is hosting a fundraising event on Thursday, April 13, at Dupont Underground from 6pm-8:30pm. The Spring Cocktail Celebration includes entertainment by local DJ Jake Maxwell, plus drag king and queen performances and an open bar for the first hour. The event will benefit The DC Center’s upcoming relocation and new space renovation with the goal of being in the new space this summer. The new LGBTQ Community Center will be larger than the current space advancing an increase in community and service outreach. Attached is a media alert with event details.
