Fortune Feimster and Chaunte Wayans to Headline The Dinah Comedy Show

Chaunte Wayans

As The Dinah 2019 approaches, the organizers recently announced Fortune Feimster and Chaunte Wayans as this year’s comedy show headliners.

Both out comedians are making huge waves in the comedy world, appearing in feature films and on hit TV shows across major networks, collaborating with the likes of Chelsea Handler and Katt Williams, and releasing stand up specials on Comedy Central and Netflix.

Both women are wonderful examples of never holding back your talents and powering through to find massive success in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

A stand-up comedian, writer and actor Feimster first made a name for herself on Chelsea Lately. Feimster currently stars in the NBC series Champions as a series regular and is known for her role as Nurse Collette on Hulu’s The Mindy Project.

She now headlines the best comedy clubs across the country and continues to be one of comedy’s fastest rising stars.

Co-headliner Chaunte Wayans is a comedian, writer, and actress who proudly represents the new generation of the Wayans’ legacy making its mark in Hollywood.

As a comedian, Wayans has toured nationally wowing audiences with her unique brand of comedy featuring for comedic veterans such as Katt Williams, Russell Peters, and her uncles Marlon, Shawn and Damon Wayans.

Her comedic talent allowed her to grow a large social media following, garnering over ten million content views, and becoming featured on programs such as MTV’s hit sketch comedy series Nick Cannon Presents: Wild N’ Out.  Currently you can find Chaunte Wayans featured on TruTV’s Laff Tracks.

The Dinah is a five-day event created by Mariah Hanson to “celebrate, unite and, empower women.” The festival includes high profile performances by nationally renowned recording artists, massive pool parties with world famous DJs, red carpet events with celebrity guests, and more.
