Singer and songwriter Laura Tsaggaris celebrates her fifth CD release, “Live At The Atlas,” with her full band at the 9:30 Club Wednesday, February 4. The show at Washington, D.C.’s premiere rock venue will feature a set with her full band and special guests on sax and cello. Justin Jones & The B-Sides will co-headline the evening.

“Live at The Atlas” was funded by fan contributions and CD pre-orders of over $20,000. It is inspired by some of the great live albums that shaped Tsaggaris as a songwriter. The focus is acoustic, featuring one new song and fresh arrangements of 16 songs from her previous full-length albums. “Live At The Atlas” was recorded on September 26 and 27, 2014 before a live audience at The Atlas Performing Arts Center in the historic H Street Corridor of Northeast D.C.

Tsaggaris writes and performs songs on acoustic & electric guitar, piano, and ukelele. Her most recent studio album, “EVERYMAN,” earned considerable airplay nationwide. Tsaggaris has toured the country for the last 15 years in support of five independent releases from her label, Overtime Records. She has been a DC resident since 2000.

Her new album is available on iTunes February 3rd.
