Supporters gather for the annual “Tea by the Sea” event in Rehoboth Beach
The annual Tea by the Sea weekend in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will be held August 16 – 18, 2013. Funds raised from this weekend of events help Mautner Project of Whitman-Walker Health provide primary medical care, support services and health education and advocacy for women who partner with women.

The annual Tea by the Sea weekend in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will be held August 16 – 18, 2013. Funds raised from this weekend of events help Mautner Project of Whitman-Walker Health provide primary medical care, support services and health education and advocacy for women who partner with women.
In particular, Tea by the Sea helps support CAMP-Mautner Cares, a free program that offers critical services for Rehoboth-Lewes area LGBT residents with significant health issues. Services include help navigating local health care resources and volunteer assistance such as transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and help with household chores.
“Community support for Mautner Project is so important to help us continue to provide needed health care services,” says Meghan Davies, Director of Community Health at Whitman-Walker Health. “With our new collaboration this year, we especially want to show that this change has been a beneficial one, not just for Mautner and Whitman-Walker Health but for the community we serve.”
