Your characteristics and personality are a defining factor in where your path will lead you in life. The more you understand it, the more that you can improve yourself.
One of the best ways to find this deeper meaning is by discovering your life path number. But first, you need to understand how to calculate that number.
Read below for more information on how to find your life path number. Be sure to use it as a guiding light towards your future decisions.
If you’re trying to find your life path number, then you want to make sure you’re using the right method to add it up.
Don’t worry, these calculations won’t require you to have aced AP algebra in high school. All you have to do is use the numbers in your birthday (MM/DD/YYYY) to find it.
The number that you come up with will have a divine meaning on your life, similar to the meaning of your birthstone, but with more definition to it.
Here is the exact process for adding up your birthday to get the life path number that you seek. Be sure to read each step thoroughly to ensure you receive the right life path number.
1. Memorize the Master Numbers
The first thing to know about calculating numerology is that there are three master numbers you need to remember.
These master numbers are 11, 22, and 33, and they aren’t to be added up as the rest of the numbers in your birth date.
So, for example, if your birthday was 11/12/1991, then you would leave the “11” as is, since it is a master number.
2. Add Your Month
To start things off, you need to treat the month, date, and year of your birth date as three different categories (to start).
First, start by adding up the two numbers in your birth month. So, if your birth month is June, then the two numbers would be “0” and “6” to make “06”. If it’s in December, then the two numbers would be “1” and “2” to make “12”.
Add those two numbers together and see what you get. For the June example, your addition would be 0 + 6 = 6. For the December example, it would be 1 +2 = 3.
Again, it’s worth repeating that if your birth month is November, then you’d leave the “11” as-is. Do not add it up, leave it be.
3. Add Your Date
Now it’s time to do the same thing with the date that you were born. Add the two numbers of the date that you were born together.
So, if your birthday was 11/12/1991, then for this step you would add the “12” together. In this case, 1 + 2 = 3, leaving you with the number “3” for this step.
If the date that you were born was either an “11” or a “22”, then you won’t add up the numbers for this step, as it is already a master number.
4. Add Your Year
You guessed it! Now that you’ve done the addition on the two numbers in your birth month and your birth date separately, it’s time to do the same with the four numbers in your birth year.
So, if your birthday is 11/12/1991, then you’ll add up the separate numbers in the year “1991”.
Even though there are more numbers, it’s still the same math. Add 1 + 9 + 9 + 1 together and you’ll end up with “20” for this step. Try to use a calculator for this step so that you don’t miscount. You’ve come too far to make an error now!
5. Add the Birth Month, Date, and Year Together
Now that you’ve added all of the same numbers individually, it’s time to add them all up!
So, in staying with the 11/12/1991 example, you would’ve come up with three separate numbers of “11”, “3”, and “20”. Remember, it bears worth repeating that “11” wasn’t calculated because it is a master number. Don’t forget that part!
To get the final number on this example you’ll simply add 11 + 3 + 20, which is a total of 34.
6. Add the Final Numbers
Now that you’ve gotten a total of “34” from adding up your birth month, birth date, and birth year, it’s time for one last piece of calculating.
Simply take the number “34” and split it up into two different numbers, being “3” and “4”. Add those two numbers together 3 + 4 to receive a final number of “7”. The number “7” is your life path number.
It’s important to note that if the final number when adding your birth month, date, and year together was either “11”, “22”, or “33”, then you would not add it further.
Now that you’ve received the final number on your calculations, it’s time to find out what the number means for your life. Reading the number meanings will help you understand what your heart is trying to tell you about your path in life.
