To honor their support for the LGBTQ community, the DC United will welcome guests on Saturday, September 19 for a special event. Started by the Federal Triangles Soccer Club, United Night Out is an annual event for LGBTQ soccer fans.
The Federal Triangles is a local non-profit organization founded in 1990 by J.C. Cummings and a group of other interested players who wanted to start a local soccer club. The Federal Triangles is also a charitable and educational soccer organization who focuses on increasing growth within the LGBTQ Community. Team DC—a local organization that encourages and supports involvement in team and individual sports within the LGBTQ and broader communities—is presenting the event alongside the Federal Triangles.
The complimentary pre-game tailgate party kicks off around 4 p.m. The tailgate is located in Lot 8 of the RFK Stadium parking lot and includes free food prepared by the Federal Triangles.
This year the DC United will take on the Columbus Crew and the game begins at 7 p.m. To purchase tickets to the United Night Out game, visit www.teamdc.org/uno.
