Gallery: Olympian Caster Semenya’s “White Wedding”

South African Olympian Caster Semenya and wife Violet Raseboya said, “I do” for a second time this weekend in Tswane.

The gold medalist, who found herself in a gender row after her win at the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics, wed Raseboya in a traditional African wedding ceremony in 2015. The pair chose Semenya’s 26th birthday to hold a customary western wedding ceremony South Africans call a “white wedding”.

Attendees gushed on social media about the beautiful event held on Saturday at Chez Charlene Wedding Venue in her country’s capital. Here are a few pictures they posted on Instagram:
