Gwen and Katie

In a few words, how would you describe yourselves?
Fun, friendly, positive, spiritual, caring, and involved in the community

Your favorite hangout spots.
Frogg Pond, Ale House, Conch Island, and Seafood Shack

Favorite guilty pleasure.
Chocolate

Favorite quote.
“Whether you think you can, or think you can’t… You’re right!”  -Henry Ford

Who is your biggest influence and why?
We would have to say our parents. Hard working very positive down to earth people. They have shown us both that it is nice to be important, but more important to be nice. Life is to short to waste, make the most of everyday. Smile, be happy, and make the people around you a little bit happier for having known you.

Favorite event past or present.
Lilith Fair Celebration of women in music in Columbia, Maryland.

Do you have any regrets in life?
None really. Maybe Katie not buying her Harley earlier in life. Maybe not moving to the beach earlier.

That being said all of our pasts have made us who and what we are today. We need to focus on the positives in life and remember we are all human, and mistakes happen. Don’t dwell on them, learn from them and move forward.

Favorite lesbian celebrity.
Ellen DeGeneres and Melissa Etheridge

Favorite musician.
Diana Ross and Michael Jackson

What’s next for you?
You never know what tomorrow will bring. Let’s enjoy today. Tomorrow we’ll leave in the hands of God!

Any fun facts or anything else you want our readers to know?
“Say goodnight Gracie” is the saying I whisper to Katie when it is time for us to leave the bar scene and go home. More and more people have heard this and now everyone around us chants this out loud when I lean in for the whisper.
