Free Pre-Inauguration Wedding Services for LGBTQ+ Couples

As same-sex couples fear for their rights under an anti-LGBTQ+ Trump administration and challenges to marriage rights at the Supreme Court, many are racing to marry before inauguration day in case they’re not able to in the future. If you’re in that tough spot, there are wedding vendors across the country stepping up to offer free or discounted services if you’re eloping before January 20, making that rushed planning a little easier and more feasible.

  • This listing includes dozens of photographers offering free LGBTQ+ elopement services, but in our review of their Instagram pages they didn’t have public announcements of the offers.
  • These vendors have signed up to be listed as offering services for LGBTQ+ elopements but most have not posted publicly about their offers.

 

Pop-Up Wedding Events

Some vendors are banding together to create en masse microweddings for many couples at a time. These three upcoming events are free options to show up and have a venue, officiant, photographer, and more available for your quickie wedding. This might have a nice community feel, plus there’s almost no planning involved for you.

This is an incomplete and growing list of the vendors offering completely free services for LGBTQ+ couples’ elopements until January 20. We cannot guarantee any offers these vendors are making and their inclusion on this list is intended as a resource but not a guarantee. Unless otherwise listed, photographers here have offered one hour of free coverage for small elopements through January 20.
