Back Lot Bash, the Midwest’s most-attended women’s festival taking place every Pride, has announced its 2017 entertainment lineup.

The headliners are American electro singer Dev, DJ duo Sea & Gunn (with Daniela Sea from The L Word), Kiyomi Valentine, Whitney Mixter, JD Samson, Catfight, and youtube influencers Bria and Chrissy. The rest of the slate is equally eye-popping with these trendy tastemakers on the bill: DJ Goodboy, Tori WhoDat, DJ All the Way Kay, Fembot, and DJ Zel.

Back Lot Bash has established itself as one of the nation’s top destinations during Pride Weekend celebrations. Founded in 2004 by Amie Klujian and Christina Wiesmore, the queer women’s festival spans over two weekends – June 16 and June 23-25 – in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.

Showcasing local and emerging talent as well as established performers of different genres, Back Lot Bash highlights unity, equality and inclusiveness in an environment that is festive and celebratory of everyone in our community.

The event is produced and sponsored by women, for women. It stands out among other lesbian events across the nation for its unique ability to maintain an intimate feel while drawing thousands of attendees.

Since 2004, the event has grown from a single-day event to a 4-day weekend party drawing thousands of people from all over the Midwest and across the United States.

“Our goal is for our attendees and performers to leave inspired and to stay invigorated and involved in the community until they come back next year,” says Wiesmore.

“We are motivated and driven by the positive energy Back Lot Bash creates. That energy is harnessed by all who attend and used to ignite momentum, engagement, and advocacy of issues that matter to the LGBT Community,” explains Klujian.
