Pretty Boi Drag Productions is bringing sexy fun to lunch in 2016. For the first time ever, drag kings will be featured in an innovative midday show in Washington, D.C. The F*ck Brunch! Drag Lunch is premiering on January 24 at the Bier Baron Tavern located in the Dupont area. Organizers guarantee that the performers are sure to pack sexy into the New Year.
The show is being produced by the collective creative force of local performers Pretty Rik E, Chris Jay, and Lexi Starre. Each member brings their previous experience in the drag scene to bring a show that guests will find unique and refreshing. Pretty Rik E describes the show as “high energy, fun, quirky, and sexy.”
“We’re going to reach out and grab you. It’s not just a show. It’s a full drag king experience,” says Pretty Rik E. There will be games, plenty of food and drinks, as well as a surprise for all those with a January birthday.
In addition to the producers, other performers include Jasfer B. and Namii. DJ Tezrah will fill the day with hip-hop, R&B, and classic tunes. The organizers dare you to try to keep from dancing and singing along with them.
Bier Baron is pulling out all the stops in celebration of the Pretty Boi Drag show. A new revamped menu is making its debut. The lunch specials will have you undoing that top button on your skinny jeans to make room for seconds. Audience members can also sip on an exclusive “beermosa” while enjoying the show.
“It’s an experience you’ll want to have again and again. Great food, beermosas with friends while you dance and sing along,” says Pretty Rik E. “Relax and let the kings make your day. Leave with a smile on your face and a song in your heart.”
General admission for the monthly show is $15 and a combo lunch and show ticket is $25. Organizers also kindly ask for guests to bring cash tips for the performers. Doors open at 2 p.m. with the show starting at 3 p.m. Next month’s show is February 14.
