Age: 30
Profession: Digital Campaigns Manager

In a few words, how would you describe yourself?

A little too open, a little too ambitious, a little too much fun.

Your favorite hangout spots.
Most nights that I go out, you can find me at A League of Her Own. For dinner and drinks, probably Doi Moi on 14th Street. If I’m escaping from everybody? The roof of my apartment building.

Favorite guilty pleasure.
Taco Bell. It’s trash, and I’m usually pretty good about sticking to my diet, but sometimes you just a need a cheat day.

Favorite quote.
“The here and now is all we have, and if we play it right it’s all we’ll need.” – Gov. Ann Richards

Who is your biggest influence? And why?
My father. In the last few years of his life, he was a huge source of encouragement to me – first to get my career started, and then as a constant source of advice as I began to succeed.

Favorite event.
I’ve been trying to go to more local events. I’d really love to make it a habit to go to more jazz shows or book readings.

Do you have any regrets in life?
Going back into the closet after coming out at age 12. Coming out the first time was hard enough – add another dozen years of trauma, and it certainly didn’t get any easier.

Favorite lesbian celebrity.
Rachel Maddow. I absolutely love how she has mastered the art of speaking with authority and with knowledge, and to be honest, her writing is even better than her work in the newsroom.

Any fun facts or anything else you want our readers to know?
I’m an avid gamer. It’s a tragedy that I don’t have the time to dedicate to the hobby that I used to.
