In a few words, how would you describe yourself?
I’m a lively extrovert who loves a well-crafted gin cocktail, random conversations with strangers, and I’m passionate about all things pop culture.
Your favorite hangout spots.
I love any place with great music and an even better drink! You can sometimes find me at Wicked Bloom Mondays, ALOHO, Kith and Kin (when I’m trying to be a foodie), and The Meeting Place for some awesome R&B karaoke. I’m also an arts enthusiast and one of my happy places in D.C. is The Kennedy Center. I’ve been known to just stop by for a happy hour drink and walk around to take in the scenery.

Favorite guilty pleasure.
Watching TV. I’m talking mass amounts of television. I’ve probably watched at least one episode of most scripted television shows. It’s one of my favorite things. It’s a good way to unwind at the end of a long day.
Favorite quote.
“Happiness comes from being who you actually are instead of who you think you are supposed to be.” —Shonda Rhimes
Who is your biggest influence? And why?
My biggest influences are the people in my village – the friends and family that keep me grounded. They are all incredibly strong, powerful and driven and continue to be the motivation, strength and lights in my life.
Favorite event.
I love a good live performance – especially musicals. One of my favorite performances was seeing In The Heights with Anthony Ramos at The Kennedy Center a couple of years ago.
Do you have any regrets in life?
I don’t have any major regrets in life. There are always things in hindsight that we might choose to do differently but every decision is a learning experience. Without those experiences I would not be the person I am today.
Favorite lesbian celebrity.
If I had to pick a few favorites by name, I love ladies that make me laugh – Kate McKinnon, Wanda Sykes, Jane Lynch, and Ellen of course – just to name a few.
