On Wednesday, May 21, Capital Pride honored recipients of the Annual Capital Pride Heroes Award and the TransPride Engendered Spirits award at Artisphere in Arlington, VA. Tagg was there to capture the action!
On May 17, 2014 Capital Pride hosted their annual TransPride celebration, for members, supporters, family, and friends of the Transgender community. The day was filled with workshops, presentations, and one-on-one opportunities to network and learn from various vendors.
In 1978, San Francisco artist Gilbert Baker created the first Rainbow Flag, to symbolize the diversity of the LGBTQ community. It was hand-sewn and hand-dyed and featured eight stripes.
