The Big Day: We haven’t finalized a venue yet, but we are looking at three locations in Fairfax, Virginia. We do know that we want an outdoor wedding with a theme of red and white flowers and/or roses. We’ll have a chocolate cake with white icing. We like the color red, so our matron of honor will wear a shiny red dress and our best man will wear a red bowtie. And we’re looking forward to dancing the night away!
The Firsts:
First meeting: We met through mutual friends in 1998.
First Date: We had dinner at Sandra’s apartment.
First Kiss: Our first kiss was in Angela’s 1989 SUV.
When They Knew: Angela knew when Sandra asked her to be her girlfriend on March 18, 2012.
The Proposal: Angela proposed to Sandra during a romantic dinner at her house. Sandra opened up a rose with a ring in it with a message that said, “Will you marry me?” She was very shocked, but she said yes!
Rings: We have gold wedding bands with our names and wedding dates on them.
Honeymoon: We haven’t confirmed plans yet, but we are looking at Amsterdam, Netherlands, or the Caribbean.
